As Her Majesty celebrates her 70 year jubilee the UK economy is set for a £6.4 billion boost from the celebrations this week as Britons splash out to celebrate.
Pubs, bars and restaurants are poised to benefit to the tune of £3 billion over the long weekend, the equivalent of 712 million pints of beer. While revellers are expected to spend £2.25 billion in supermarkets.
We just need the weather to make it a weekend to remember.
